About Brian Starkevich: Edmonton’s Reliable Taxidermist
As an avid hunter, I know there is no substitute for quality materials when bringing your trophies back to life and preserving your memories for a lifetime. I only use the finest eyes and forms available today. I believe in some old school rules such as a little extra goes a long way.
No Extra Charges or Fees
I do not believe in charging extra for skinning out your deer head or skinning the head and paws of bears or wolves for rug work or full mounts. After all, only a few years back this was standard practice for every taxidermist. Now some feel it is an easy way to put an extra dollar in their pocket, which results in more people trying to skin them. Inexperience leads to damage that is hard to repair or worse – it ruins the trophy.
Recreating Memories of Time Well Spent
I would like to thank my past and present customers for their support and patience over the years. As a result of your trust in me and the work I do, you have taken me out of the corporate jungle. Since March 2009, I have been running a full-time shop doing what I enjoy and putting more emphasis on recreating your memories of time well spent in the great outdoors.
Quality Work Takes Time
Please consider that quality work takes time. My workload varies from year to year and I do my best to give you an accurate estimate on turnaround time based upon the current workload. I encourage you to drop off your trophies after hours, but please call ahead to make arrangements. The sooner you bring them in, the sooner I can skin and prep your trophies to reduce the risk of spoilage.
Thanks for all your support over the years and I look forward to seeing you all in the future. Good luck hunting this season!
